I hate to disappoint you, but that will not work, and can, in fact make the bruise more visible. A hickey is caused by bruising, which is broken blood vessels. Warm compresses will work better, but I have to ask, why would you allow someone to put a hickey on you if you don’t want it seen? A hickey is a love mark of sorts…shouldn’t you wear it with pride? No? Then why allow it? The reason there is pain when a hickey is being applied is because blood vessels are bursting. It’s not a healthy practice, actually.
