Not all adhesive vinyl letters are the same, but most working very well. I stuck to painted wood and the fiberglass hull, a few inches from the water line, and often punctuated by waves of the ocean. No trouble.
The kit is a total of 68 decal characters, with each letter measuring about 1.125 (1 1/8″) inches. You can use some of the kit, all of the kit, or even order 2 kits to overlap. The great thing with this kit is it is up to you.
