Dsl Broad Difficulty creating router with HGC (Hutchison Global Crossing) in Hong Kong?
I am ok with the level one WBR 4306TX router, I know that HGC is using PPPoE connection type everything is correct, skip and I have even tried setting the connection my friend NWTBB and it works, but when I try to configure HGC with my connection it wont connect. Btw there is no DSL modem, which usually comes with most type of DSL broadband connection. His only like a thin telephone cable into my PC directly from the wall. if someone has already successfully used a router with a line of 10 million HGC, please guide me. thx in advance.

Connect to the Internet directly via PPPoE, and take note of your IP address, gateway and netmask recovered ipconfig command. (start, run, or run ipconfig Start, cmd, ipconfig) 2. Connect the router and tell it to authenticate via PPPoE. 3. Check and compare WAN router IP address, gateway and netmask. If this information matches, or all information matches, but the last two # s of your address IP is a problem with your LAN / router configuration, not your ISP. 4. Otherwise, it is a problem with their ability to use PPPoE to the ISP.
