Shop Light Plan to get a tune-up, oil change and check engine light .. What store can I trust?
Should I go to a dealer liki shops randomly or PEP-children or what? not want to go to a bot-leg shop where only learned to work on cars since I was a kid and never went to school and body, and are only there to steal. I go to a different shop each time to get an oil change and no confidence i (after going there).
As a former mechanic, this is my best advice: Stay away from Pep Boys, Wal Mart, dealers, etc. do quality work and you can not beat the factory technical trained, but depend on high volume and will pay a premium for work because of the huge overhead of distribution. Instead, find a local store with a good reputation. Ask around, people are more than happy to recommend a good shop. Once you find the good shops, give them their return business and refer their friends and family. They will know and you will know, and most importantly you can trust them.
