I do a lot of restoration and recently decided I need to invest in some boxes of hot pots for steam table. Everyone continues to recommend Cambro boxes for me to keep food warm – but how do they work? Just put in the hot pan and close the lid? Do you have hot water, go to the bottom? Does the meal to keep the kitchen? Sounds like a silly question – But I do not know about them! Thanks so much!
Hello, Cambro boxes keep food temperatures at which temperature is placed in the box up to 4 hours. There is no other source of heat added, such as hot water or sterno. If kept closed as much as possible, then the temperature can be maintained longer. The food should not have the kitchen, except the meat that is on the brink of doneness (MED-can go to med rare) Hope this helps. Cambro are an important tool in our company.
