Waist Waitress
Waist Waitress A Topless Coffee Shop In MaineTough times call for topless measures up north… -The Betty Editors We know that the folks in Maine are hardy, but we never expected those Yankees to be this tough. But, hey, defying the elements–it is probably snowing there right now — Donald Crabtree just opened Grand View Topless Coffee Shop, in Vassalboro, Maine, where the waiters and waitresses serve their customers topless. Yes, you got it right, TOPLESS! Though we hope they are wearing layers and layers of L.L. Bean below the waist. Vassalboro has a population of less than 4,500, but business at the new coffee shop is booming. Crabtree told CNN:”It’s just been crowds mobbing in… People leave here happy and can’t wait to come back. It’s nice to see people smile again” We bet. What exactly do the waiters and waitresses wear while serving a hot cuppa joe on a chilly morning? (And don’t even think about what happens when they spill a few steaming drops.) They wear a BIG SMILE! Crabtree says what was most important when he was hiring his staff of ten women and five men was that they be friendly. But, we guess, not too friendly. And Crabtree, honest to a fault, said, “We didn’t hire “tens.’ We hired everyone from skinny to big-boned women.” Just the kind of remark we’re sure his female employees love. Some in the town were not enthusiastic about the coffee shop, but the planning board approved it opening last week. There was a flood of more than 150 job applicants. Most had been recently laid off. And the jobs at the Grand View are paying well. So far a waitress has even received a $100 tip. In these tough economic times, even Starbucks has admitted that skim mocha lattes are just not cutting it anymore and they want to try some new things. Will the Grand View Topless be the coffee shop of the future? We hope not. But remember that old expression “As Maine goes, so goes the nation…” About the Author Any tips on weight loss? Well today is 3 weeks that i have been on my diet. My diet is basically anything very healthy and water. I don’t have a scale because i will be on that thing 50 times a day. So far I have lost about 2 inches off my waist, and can tell a little bit in my face and upper body. Other then that.. most people can’t really tell. I exercise about 2 times a week, nothing heavy and i waitress 5 days 30 hrs a week so im always on my feet. I would guess i’ve lost about 7-10lbs so far. Do you think this is normal? anything that i can speed it up a bit.. im planning on buying a treadmill in about 2 weeks by the way.. is this just normal weight loss, will it keep coming off? Sometimes i just feel im going no where and sometimes i feel really good about myself.. by the way i’m about 5’7 and around 165lbs, i have a larger frame to begin with, and really just hate my stomach and hips. Do you think this will pay off within the next couple of months? on stomach and hips no it wont pay off. You can’t lose weight from one part of your body only so any weight loss which sounds normal in your case by the way will occur on your whole body. And if you have fat on your stomach it is incredibly difficult to lose it. I know many guys who are slim and yet having fat on their tummy. As part of general health you are doing the right thing in just eating healthily, – not too much food – and exercise. However the fact is that you can lose a lot of weight and you may very well still retain the tummy after getting to what may be your ideal weight which is around 147 lbs. http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/logout/news_features/idealweight_w.htm structural changes in ur body will take time and they are best coming gradually. Like I said eat normally and exercise but if you really want to lose tummy fat then the formula is: 1) watching what you eat seeing where you are now I suggest you weight lift and lift hard. Do some overall lifting. Squats, bicep curls yes sit ups sure but it is the overall lifting that will have the biggest impact on you at this stage. By building muscle mass your body will burn more caloreis as maintaining muscles requires more energy than mainitaning the equivalent amount of fat. you will of course ned to eat enough to give you energy to lift the weights. as you gradually increase the weight you can lift your muscle mass will increase and ‘ soak up’ the fat in your stomach. Dont worry about getting big – women dont really have the genes to get big. if you dont like that approach then you may go on a restrictive calorie diet. Your body weight in pounds times 11 will give you your daily calorie in take just to sit still adding around 35% of this amount will give you the amount you need to get through your daily actvities. You can then reduce the amount you eat to below this amount starting by say 500 calories less.
